재정증명서 관련 안내 (중요)

최근 한국 내 체류하는 외국인 수가 급증하여, 외국인을 대상으로 하거나 외국인에 의한 범죄 및 사기사건도 증가 추세로, 이를 방지하기 위해 한국 은행에서 현재 외국인 유학생의 재정증명서 발급 절차를 매우 까다롭게 검토한다고 함. 따라서, 우리은행 역시 아래 두 경우에 한하여 승인이 가능함:

1. 1) 서류발급일로부터 3개월 이상 잔고가 지속적으로 예치된 경우
2. 2) 본국에서 유학자금으로 입금된 해외송금의 경우 - 송금인이 가족 또는 친척이어야 하며,   관계증명요청이 있을 수 있음.

법정의무교육 이수 관련 안내 (업데이트)

외국인 유학생뿐 아니라 모든 한림대 학생과 교직원이 정부에서 지정한 법정의무교육의 대상자입니다. 한림대 인권센터 주관 하 스마트리드 온라인 교육 탑재 운영을 기본으로 하며, 유학생을 위한 외국어(영어 및 중국어) 강의도 업로드됩니다. 유학생 관리부서인 글로벌교류센터에서는 2025년부터 통합시스템을 통한 체계적이고 철저한 이수 관리를 할 것이며, 미이수자는 체류연장신청 서류에 필요한 글로벌교류센터의 유학생담당자 서명을 받지 못하는 제약을 받게 되니, 이 점 유의하시기 바랍니다.

For the ARC extension, you can visit HiKorea website and complete the online application, however the online process might get delayed and the documentation must be perfectly ready. Important Notice on the Financial Statement

As the number of foreigners in Korea increases fast recently, there are also more crimes and fraud targeting or through them. In order to prevent it, most of Korean banks are cautious about the issuance of the bank statement for international students as well. 

Please note that, when you ask Woori bank for the document, it will only allow these two cases:

1. 1) The stated amount has remained in the account for longer than 3 months from the date of documentation request
2. 2) The stated amount has been transferred into the account from the home country of the student and the sender should be a family member or relatives – it may be additionally required to submit official proof of relationship.

Important Notice on the completion of compulsory education for violence prevention (update)

Please note that, not only international students but all students, staffs and professors are subject to take the compulsory education for violence prevention, which is required by the Korean government. Hallym university's Human Rights department takes charge and upload the online course onto SmartLEAD, including language support with English and Chinese versions. From 2025, for a better collaboration, the Global Engagement Center starts to manage international students' completion list and rate through the portal system. Please be aware that those who incomplete it cannot get the officer's signature on any paper related to ARC extension.
